During my studies, I realized that I enjoy simplifying and transforming complex data using various algorithms.

The industrial sector provides many different kinds of data and challenges that intrigue me.

The colleagues are fantastic and very welcoming.

Additionally, Sensr has a broad training program that allows me to continue learning and developing my skills.

I learned to drive in an oldtimer Merc and have loved driving it ever since.

It was my screensaver for quite a while. I really enjoy driving in general, but there’s a unique charm to my oldtimer.

I like that industrial analytics have a tangible real-world impact, often on a global scale, where my contributions can directly influence day-to-day operations.

The industry is also constantly striving for improvement, which matches my own personal drive for continuous learning.

The fun and dynamic team! Working with my Sensr colleagues on projects has been both educational and enjoyable.

Additionally, the monthly team syncs are always very interesting and entertaining.

I started my career as a pure mathematician and gradually transitioned towards applied work.

My PhD was a mix of pure mathematics and applied computer science, before I eventually moved fully into the world of data engineering and data science.

Industry keeps growing and evolving with new and improved sensors, processes and goals. I wish to help companies gain the maximum insights that come from these new technologies.

Sensr provided me the opportunity to work with Kemin Industries. Here, I can been of the brains responsible for building their cloud-platform which is build on top of IoT, with the goal to help their clients reach better results with the Kemin products and Kemin services.

Creative energy. Programming and building solutions require creative energy but I still have lots to spare. Outside of work I’m a digital artist, with a focus on digital painting.

Industrial processes have always been within my field of interest, but I have not had a chance to marry my expertise in data science with my interests in industry. Sensr is that opportunity!

Personal:
I’m an avid TTRPG (D&D and other systems) and board games fan/collector.

Business:
I have spend quite some time researching quantum computer science and have written some functional quantum machine code.

It proves to be a very interesting and challenging environment to be able to use sensor data coming in from devices on the edge and translating these vast amounts of data to actionable insights, possibly even to predictive use cases with immediate impact.

I play Ultimate Frisbee for almost 10 years now.
